Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. Our Varsity Robotics team competed at the Mason District, near Lansing this weekend. They finished 2nd in qualifications and with good strategy and scouting were able to win the playoff bracket, and bring home a District Championship in addition to an autonomous award. Our JV robotics team will be competing at Macomb this coming weekend. At their first competition they finished 3rd in qualifications and overcame the odds to finish as District Finalists and also bring home the Rookie All Star award. With these performances, both teams are expected to qualify for the State Championship in two weeks!

The Bishop Foley Forensics Team ended their regular season with a tough competition at Marian High School on Saturday morning. Senior Micah Graettinger brought home a 5th place ribbon in Extemporaneous Speaking and Sophomore Joscelyn Ryan earned 6th place in the category of Oral Interpretation. This coming Saturday, team members will have the opportunity to earn a chance to compete in the Grand National Tournament in Chicago over Memorial Day weekend. After announcements are over, will all team members who competed this weekend please report to Lab 4 of the media center for a brief meeting.

Attention Sophomores: The placement test for AP World History will be after school today from 3 to 4pm. Please report to Lab 1/3 in the Media Center. Reach out to your counselor if you have any questions.

PASS will be taking place in the Media Center this afternoon from 2:55-3:30pm. It's a perfect chance to get a jump start on homework before leaving BFC for the day. Hope to see you there!

Just a reminder that we'll be gathering as a mental health club tomorrow after school in Mr. Swift's room. We'll be researching autism and creating posters to increase awareness for autism awareness month. Bring a friend and see you there! The BFC Book Club will be meeting this Thursday morning to discuss our March book, THE INHERITANCE GAMES. Even if you haven't finished the book, feel free to join us in Lab 4 of the Media Center, at 7:30 am for our discussion and some breakfast snacks. We will also be selecting our April book, and we'd appreciate your input

Sports Announcements for Monday, March 24, 2025

The weight room will be available Monday through Thursday this week to all students from 3:30-4:30pm. Gym clothes are required and an adult MUST be present. See Mr. Z if you have any questions.
