We appreciate that you are selecting a Bishop Foley Catholic education for your child. The school is committed to providing a high quality and college preparatory education to as many students possible that is at an affordable price.  
 
BFC is a non-profit institution and does not receive subsidy funding. While tuition does need to be charged, please do not let the cost prevent you from learning more about Foley. Interested families are encouraged to contact the school to confidentially discuss options available. There are a variety of financial resources available, including grants and scholarships.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition for 2024–2025 School Year: $13,350 • Tuition for 2025–2026 School Year: $13,650
 
Enrollment/Re-Enrollment Fee (per student): $500
This includes registration fee and tuition deposit. The registration fee is dependent upon registration date with remainder going toward tuition deposit. The fee breakdown is as follows:
 
»  $150 – Register between January 29 and February 28    
»  $200 – Register between March 1 and March 31
»  $250 – Register after April 1
 
Comprehensive Fee: $600
Covers books, Chromebook and case, Bishop Foley planner, FACTS fee, computer services, school testing, entrance to all Bishop Foley home athletic events, stipends to celebrants for religious celebrations, etc.

FACTS - Payment Plans

Bishop Foley Catholic High School offers multiple payment plan options, which are outlined in the Money Matters document. Families must set up an account with the FACTS Tuition Management Company for payment of tuition. Families can choose between a 12, 11, 10 or 2-month payment plan, or a single payment option. All plans must be paid in full by March. Sign up online with FACTS.

Financial Aid  
& Grants

BFC uses the FACTS Financial Aid Application to determine financial need-based grants. This is the same form that is used by the Archdiocese of Detroit. Your family will be eligible for consideration for both grants upon completion of the FACTS Financial Aid Application; however, to be eligible for an AOD Grant, Catholic families must also submit a Pastor Signature Form by the application due date.

Please note if you are applying for financial aid, you will be required to create a separate login from your FACTS Family Portal credentials. 

Bishop Foley Catholic Tuition Grants

Foley students in grades 9-12 are eligible for this grant. Students must be accepted to BFC before they can receive a tuition grant. Grants are allocated based on financial need and family circumstances. The award ranges from $500–$3,000 and recipients must reapply each year. Archdiocese of Detroit (AOD) Tuition Grants
Information regarding the AOD Tuition Assistance program for the 2025–2026 school year is available online through the Archdiocese of Detroit website. All financial aid applications, as well as the Pastor Verification Form, are due by Friday, February 28, 2025. 
 
All Catholic family applications require an updated Pastor Verification Form; your Catholic pastor must be from a Catholic parish located within the parish boundaries of the AOD. Forms can be emailed directly to kokenos@bishopfoley.org or dropped off in the Main Office.

Scholarships

Bishop Foley Catholic offers a variety of scholarships for both current and future Ventures based on a multitude of criteria. Students are encouraged to apply for all scholarships for which they feel they may qualify. Please note that 9th grade scholarships are intended for incoming students who will be freshmen in the next academic year, while 10–12th grade scholarships are intended for all students who will be sophomores, juniors or seniors (including transfer students) in the next academic year.
 
While applications may be submitted prior to acceptance, students must be officially accepted to Bishop Foley Catholic to receive scholarships. Supplemental scholarship application documents, such as essays or letters of recommendation, should be emailed to scholarships@bishopfoley.org. Please note that this is an unmonitored email address, so if you have questions, please contact the Admissions Office directly.

Students interested in applying for the Performing Arts Scholarship must schedule an audition online.
 
External Scholarship Opportunities
Alliance Catholic Foundation Make a Difference Scholarship

The Make a Difference Scholarship Program is designed to support the educational goals of Alliance Catholic Credit Union members. The 2025 program will award $25,000 in scholarships to members who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others through faith, attitude and service. 

There are three levels of scholarship opportunities available for the 2025-2026 academic year:

  1. Families with students attending a K-8 Catholic school: Five (5) $1,000 scholarships will be available
  2. Students attending a Catholic High School: Five (5) $1,000 scholarships will be available
  3. Students attending a post-secondary educational institution: Five (5) $3,000 scholarships will be available

Applicants should select the category based on the level of education the student will be attending in the 2025–2026 academic year.

ASSIGNMENT: Pitch your idea for a product or service that could help make a difference in your community! Tell us about it, explain your reasoning, and tell us why we should “invest” in it.

All applications must include a 150-word or less description of a product or service that could make a meaningful difference in the community, a 150-word or less explanation for why the applicant believes their product/service has the potential to positively impact the community, and a 150-word or less argument for why Alliance Catholic Foundation should “invest” in the product/service.
