To get into the spirit of the holidays, it is time to start thinking about your Winter Wish! Winter Wish Week is a week-long event where students and staff get to request a wish to be granted before Christmas Break. Students can wish for purchased items that are $5 or less or can wish for free items like signed pictures of their favorite teachers, or a rematch of Mr. Merricle and Mr. McCormick thumb war! BE CREATIVE! We love seeing what type of fun and inventive wishes we can grant for students and staff here at BFC.

The Medical Science Club will be meeting tomorrow from 3-4 pm in Room 124. If you are interested in the medical field, please swing by and join us for some food and activities.

Beginning Nov 25, Mr. McCormick and Mrs. Baumgartner will be hosting faith sharing groups each Monday in Mr. McCormick's room. Mr. McCormick will host one from 7:15- 7:45AM and Mrs. Baumgartner will host one from 3:15- 3:45 PM. All students are invited to attend whichever time works better for them. If you've been considering taking another step in your faith journey, drop by for a visit!

Have you recently read a book you really enjoyed? Have you wished that you could talk about this book with others? If you answered "Yes" to both questions, then join us at the monthly Book Club meeting this Thursday. We will be talking about our newest "favorite" book, or about the book we're currently reading. The meeting will take place from 7:20-7:50 am in Lab 4 of the Media Center. Breakfast snacks will be provided. So whether you love sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction, memoirs , biographies, or any other genre, we'd love to hear what you're reading! Looking forward to seeing you there.

PASS will be taking place in the media center after school this afternoon from 2:55-3:30. It's a great time to prepare for a test, complete homework or even to start organizing materials in preparation for midterms, which will be here before you know it. Take advantage of the opportunity to work with your friendly and compassionate peers who don't judge, and sincerely want to provide support. We look forward to seeing you at 2:55!

Sports Announcements for Monday, Nov 18, 2024

There will be an informational meeting for the parents and students interested in the ski and snowboard club tonight at 6:30 pm. If you are planning on hitting the slopes this year, we look forward to seeing you at the meeting! If you have any questions please see Mr. Novajovsky.

Our next Catholic Athletes for Christ meeting will be on Wednesday, November 20th at 7:25 AM in the Fan Cave. Mr. Caribardi will be leading our monthly discussion on the importance of preparedness and putting on the armor of God as Cathletes. All Foley athletes are welcome to attend.
