Thanks to everyone's hard work raising money for the auction through Penny Wars! You have earned a well deserved Pajama Day for Monday, December 9th! Please ensure that pajamas are school-appropriate. Items like shorts, tank top style tops/sleeveless, holes, and sheer (see-through) items are not permitted. Slippers are not allowed. Any attire deemed inappropriate by administration on this day may result in actions ranging from outfit changes to suspension. Let's make Monday a fun and cozy day for everyone!
Are you starting to feel the pressure of midterms? Do you want to start getting prepared early? Do you like cookies and hot cocoa? If you answered yes to all three questions then we hope to see you at Cookies, Cocoa and Cooperative Learning on Monday, December 9th from 2:55-4:30 pm in the Media Center. It's a perfect time to get a jump start on exam prep and enjoy some delicious, homemade cookies generously donated by our Moms' Club. Hope to see you there!
PASS will be taking place this afternoon in the Media Center from 2:55-3:30. Take advantage of the opportunity to work with your peers who are there to provide support.
Attention Students: The Fan Cave will be Closed After-School tomorrow. As there will be set-up in the Gym, Cafeteria, and Fan Cave, all students need to head out or be picked up as close to the end of the school day as possible. Those assisting with set-up for the event can remain in the building, but anyone who is here after school on Friday is asked to stay out of the way of our volunteers who are moving tables and setting up for the event.
Here is your Thursday special announcement from the Mental Health Team: Is the winter weather making you feel down? Well it could possibly be seasonal depression. Symptoms of seasonal depression include overeating or not eating enough, oversleeping, feeling sad, and anxiety. Ways you can help cope with seasonal depression are by eating healthy, exercising, exposing yourself to sunlight, and doing hobbies you enjoy.
Reminder to all: Tomorrow is $2.00 Dress Down Day to Benefit the Scholarship Fund for those who wish to participate but who are not already participating on the $100 Dress Down EVERY Friday!
