To get into the spirit of the holidays, it is time to start thinking about your Winter Wish!

Winter Wish Week is a week-long event where students and staff get to request a wish to be granted before Christmas Break. Students can wish for purchased items that are $5 or less or can wish for free items like signed pictures of their favorite teachers, or a rematch of Mr. Merricle and Mr. McCormick thumb war!

BE CREATIVE! We love seeing what type of fun and inventive wishes we can grant for students and staff here at BFC. Google Forms will be sent out on Friday, November 15th.

Join us at 7:20 tomorrow morning, and every Friday, in the Chapel to pray the Rosary before classes begin. Contact Josie Malysz or Joey Maddock with any questions.

PASS will be taking place in the Media Center this afternoon from 2:55-3:30pm. It is a great time to get started on homework, go over notes from class, or prepare for a test or quiz. A friendly, helpful student is there ready to work with you. Also, there is always a science teacher present to provide support too. So, don't feel shy, we are ready and eager to assist. See you at 2:55!

Here is your Thursday special announcement from the Mental Health Team: With social media so easily accessible, it's easy to become caught up in its toxic side and start losing touch with reality. It's important to take steps to ensure that you stay balanced. Regulating your time spent on social media can be helpful, as well as taking time to maintain relationships in person. Remember, social media doesn’t replace real life interactions.

Welcome to our Future Ventures visiting today: Marian Byrd and Marisa Katharopoulos from Queen of Martyrs, Matthew Nguyen from St. Anne, Ava Schwan from St. Joan of Arc and Garrett Teeter from St. Isaac Jogues. We hope you enjoy your time at BFC!

Sports Announcements for Thursday, Nov 14, 2024

Our next Catholic Athletes for Christ meeting will be on Wednesday, November 20th at 7:25 AM in the Fan Cave. Mr. Caribardi will be leading our monthly discussion on the importance of preparedness and putting on the armor of God as Cathletes. All Foley athletes are welcome to attend. Please see Mr. McCormick if you have any questions.

There will be a Powerlifting Club Meeting after school today at 3pm in the weight room with coach Stephanie Barnes for anyone interested.
