Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. This Saturday is an opportunity for the Foley family to come together to support Camp Ozanam. Please read Mrs. Baumgartner's email from this Monday for more details. If you intend to join us, please let Mrs. Baumgartner know before 10am today.

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN! Student Council is in need of four dedicated student leaders to make an impact here at Bishop Foley and to the community as well. Students get to collaborate with other StuCo members to help share ideas and interests for school-wide activities such as Homecoming, Winter Wish Week, Catholic Schools Week, Venturelympics, dances, community projects, fundraising and many more! Think you would be a good fit? Applications are in the Main Office until Thursday, August 29th. Stop by anytime to grab one. If you have any other questions regarding Student Council, please see Ms. Jagow in room 230!

The Performing Arts Department will hold a brief, mandatory meeting at 3:15 PM today, in the Music Room for all Performing Arts Scholarship recipients. All recipients are required to attend. We will be going over expectations for scholarship recipients for both new and returning students. Freshman who have not yet turned in their signed Performing Arts Scholarship contract should bring it to the meeting today. Please contact Mrs. Lewalski or Dr. Daniels if you have any questions.

Are you interested in Theatre? Back stage, on stage, tech crew, anything? The first meeting of the full drama club, old and new members will be Monday, August 26 from 3:30-4pm in the pit stage area. All are welcome to attend with no experience necessary. There will be snacks!

Music clubs start next week! We hope you'll consider joining one of our music clubs this year. Music Ministry meets Mondays from 3-3:30 in the music room. Music Ministry welcomes singers and instrumentalists to share their talents at all-school liturgies throughout the year; plus, it's a great way to earn your service hours! Choir Club meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-3:30 in the music room. Choir Club is open to singers of all voice types and skill level. You don't have to be good—you just have to enjoy singing! Band Club meets Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-3:30 in the music room. Band Club is open to brass, woodwind, string, and percussion players. We're looking forward to rebuilding our band this year, so please consider joining!

Good luck to the Field Hockey team who play today against Grosse Pointe North away at 5:00pm.

Good luck to the Volleyball program who has their home opener tonight. Freshman and JV play at 5:30 and Varsity plays at 7:00pm vs. Warren Cousino.

Good luck to the Boys Varsity Soccer team who plays the "School West of Woodward" (Shrine) at 5:00pm at home.
