Special Announcement from the Mental Health Team: It is normal to feel nervous in social situations, especially during the beginning of the school year. Social anxiety is the fear of what others will think about you in a social situation. Coping with social anxiety can be different for everyone. Try to use strategies such as taking deep breaths, having a plan of what you can talk about and talking to someone you trust to cope.
