Here is your Thursday special announcement from the Mental Health Team: Suicide is the third most common cause of death for teenagers in the United States; it is also one of the most preventable. If you notice yourself or someone you know becoming more withdrawn and losing interest in social activities, don’t hesitate to reach out to someone you trust, like our counseling department. You could be saving a life. Join us next Wednesday at our Mental Health Awareness Walk. Bring your $20 to Mr. Swift or Mr. Lewalski by Tuesday and you can dress down next Wednesday and then walk from 1:30-2:30 at the track. All proceeds go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention so they can help families to save their loved ones.
