Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. NHS is collecting candy for Safe Halloween from now through the end of the week. This is an opportunity to earn spirit points for all grade levels. The more pieces of candy received, the more points earned! If you have any questions about candy collection, please see Tad Dobek.

The BFC Book Club will take place tomorrow at 7:30 am in Lab 4 of the Media Center. This month, we will be discussing the book THE REAL BOY by Anne Urse. Even if you haven't read the book, or finished reading the book, come and join us for some lively discussion. Breakfast snacks will be served.

There will be a Math Club meeting today at 3:00 in Mr. Butcher's room.

Sports Announcements for Wednesday, Oct 23, 2024

Congratulations to the JV Volleyball team who beat Lumen Christi in 2 sets yesterday, and congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team who beat Lumen Christi in 5 sets yesterday. JV and Varsity play tomorrow at Lutheran Northwest for a Tri Match starting at 5:00pm.

Last night the United Ventures Swim Team took on Cranbrook in a back and forth meet, but fell 104-73 to bring our record to 7-8 with 2 regular season meets left before league championships.

Avery Wood took 2nd the 200 Individual Medley
Kate Swonder was 3rd in the 100 Butterfly
Vanessa Hesse was 1st and Ella Daly 2nd in the 100 Backstroke
Avery was 1st and Lorena 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke
200 Medley Relay Team of Vanessa, Avery, Kate, and Ella finished 3rd.
200 Freestyle team of Lorena, Sophia, Avery, and Kate was 1st, while the team of Vanessa, Lily, Kaya, and Joscelyn was 3rd.
400 Free relay Team of Ella, Sophia, Natalie, and Grace was 2nd and the team of Jade, Lyric, Sophia, and Joscelyn was 3rd.
Next up, the United Ventures travel to Birmingham Groves tomorrow to take on both Groves and Country Day at 6pm.
