Academics 

Bishop Foley Catholic offers a college preparatory academic program with more than 100 courses and 20 AP and honors classes. In addition to the traditional required high school classes, Foley includes additional course offerings in STEM, performing/visual arts, foreign language, theology, and more.

Team Culture & Philosophy 

We are not just here to learn how to play volleyball and be good athletes; we come together as a family and one whole unit to learn to be good people and students while competing at our highest level. Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.

What makes the BFC team special?

We are one of few programs in the CHSL that consistently has all 3 levels with Freshman, JV, and Varsity teams. We teach not only the basics and intricacies of volleyball, but also about being a part of a team and working with others to share in successes and defeats together in a graceful manner.

Coach Profile

Coach Szakacs has 7 years of coaching experience including club and high school volleyball and basketball. BFC alumni (2012) and former collegiate athlete at Concordia University - Ann Arbor (2016).
